Angela Sommer from Angelkeys Music Studio provided piano dinner music at the TRU Splash of Colour fundraiser gala on Saturday evening.
The elegant event provides bursaries and scholarships for local university students. Organizers say that the evening was highly successful – coming very close to the $40,000 total raised last year.
In addition to the dance band March Hare Band from Vancouver gala participants were given a short concerty by the Youth Fiddlers who happened to be engaged in a workshop at the university with nationally acclaimed fiddlers Gordon Stobbie and J.J. Guy.
