The Shields family — Janice (left), Erin, Riley and Mike — celebrate Erin’s graduation from the Applied Business Technology program at Thompson Rivers University in Williams Lake Friday evening. A total of 120 students graduated from TRU this spring with diplomas and certificates in arts, business and economics, school of nursing, faculty of human, social and educational development, school of trades, or technology. Practical nursing, home support residential care, community mental health, community and school support, microcomputers in business, business office assistant, welding, automotive service, heavy duty equipment, and residential construction are some of the programs available.
