Dr. Ray Sanders (right) presents Thompson Rivers University student Tatijana Yung with her nomination for a major new annual award, the Alvin & Lydia Grunert Scholarship. This scholarship was established to recognize and foster academic achievement. In May, seven scholarships valued at $5,000 each will be offered to the top nominee from each faculty and school and one athlete. The winning students will have achieved the highest combined fall and winter GPA in each department.
