The Alexis Creek Daze, held Saturday, July 16 at the Alexis Creek Community Hall, was sponsored by the Alexis Creek Community Services and Development Society, the principal proponents being the Madley and Mumford families.  About 140 people attended the festivities, which included a bicycle race, a horse poker ride, market, auction, community sports, arm wrestling, beer garden, dinner, and a Chris Harris visual projection of his Itcha-Ilgachuz Provincial Park photographs.
