Stamps donate free tickets

Young hockey players are the lucky recipients of free tickets to the Stampeders game last Sunday.

The Atom Purple Panthers, the Atom Green Machine and members of the Boys and Girls Club of Williams Lake and District were the lucky recipients of free tickets to Sunday’s Williams Lake Stampeders game against the Kitimat Ice Demons.

Every home game the Stampeders choose Williams Lake Minor Hockey Association teams to donate tickets to, and members of the Boys and Girls Club always get in free, said Stampeders’ sponsorship and marketing director, Calvin Dubray.

The teams get to sit in the log-built mezzanine where their excited cheers are heard loud and clear by Stampeders players on the ice.
