There will be ghosts, goblins and other mythical creatures hanging about the Boys and Girls Club this Halloween.
The NOOPA Youth Centre across from Safeway is hosting two Halloween haunted house events. Friday, Oct. 28 older children are invited to drop by the centre between 6 and 9 p.m. (if you dare) for some Halloween fun.
Sunday, Oct. 30, also from 6 to 9 p.m., the Halloween haunted house will be a little more suitable for little children.
Donations for the food bank are appreciated.

A Howl’s Eve Bash will be held at the Longhouse in the Stampede Grounds on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. the following morning. All proceeds will go to the Williams Lake branch of the BCSPCA.
There will be appetizers, dancing, games, prizes and more.
Tickets are $15 each or $25 for a couple.
This is a licensed event for people 19 years of age or older.

The City’s annual Halloween bonfire and fireworks show happens in the Stampede Grounds Monday, Oct. 31.
The bonfire will be lit at 7:15 and the fire works start at 7:45 p.m.
The Williams Lake Lions Club will be providing a concession of hotdogs and hot chocolate.
