The Maranatha Christian School students are presenting an evening of dinner theatre on April 8 and 9 starting at 6 p.m. each night.

The evening’s entertainment will include a number of musical selections by students, as well as a performance of the play The Tale of Snow White, a spoof on the fairy tale classic, says Val Hanet.

The evening will include not only quality entertainment, but a fabulous three-course meal prepared by staff and parents, and served by the performers. The cast includes students from grades 8-12.

The Tale of Snow White is a fresh and funny adaptation of the Brothers Grimm tale which will make even the most jaded folks laugh out loud.

In this version of the story a contemporary mom reads to her bickering children in stories where they meet all kinds of colourful characters.

This event is a fundraiser used to help students travel to Europe on an educational tour in March 2013.

Tickets are $12 and available at the Maranatha Christian School office.
