This is the 16th year the business has put on the dinner, which gets help from members of the RCMP, Conservation Officer Service and Sheriffs who serve dinner to the more than 200 appreciative guests.

Organizer and Hub branch manager Monica Lachapelle said about 20 staff members fundraise throughout the year and volunteer the day of for the popular annual event and it's certainly worth all the effort.

"We do it to give back to the seniors in our community," Lachapelle said. "They are a huge part of why Williams Lake is as special as it is and this is our way to say thanks."

Clearly pleased, the guests were treated to live music, a lovely traditional ham dinner and a parting gift for each senior.

In turn, each guest also brought donations of food items for St. Vincent de Paul.
