The third annual women's Lights for Life Diwali Festival of Light brought out smiles and laughter among many women and girls at the Elk's Hall Sunday evening.
The celebration, which coincides with Diwali, the Hindu festival of Lamps, raised money for the Cariboo Memorial Hospital and various other charities and was an opportunity for women to gather to visit, dance, sing, dress in beautiful traditional clothing and eat a selection of delicious ethnic food.
