What makes a forest?
In celebration of World Forestry Day Julianne Trelenberg will lead a discussion and walk at Scout Island to look at the different components of a forest.
The findings will be summarized with a group craft event at the end of the walk.
All families are welcome. Children need to bring an adult.
The event takes place this Saturday, March 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Scout Island Nature Centre.
