Scout Island banquet coming up

Ken MacKenzie, a local biologist, researcher and wildlife photographer will be the guest presenter at the annual fundraising banquet.

Ken MacKenzie, a local biologist, researcher and wildlife photographer will be the guest presenter at the annual fundraising banquet for Scout Island Nature Centre coming up in April.

MacKenzie will talk about his observations and speculations on the grouse population in the Cariboo Chilcotin.

The banquet and silent auction will take place Friday, April 21 at St. Andrew’s United Church hall.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the dinner starts at 6:45 p.m.

Tickets are $40 for adults and $15 for students 16 and younger.
