Children and their parents are invited to participate in A Scavenger Hunt in the Autumn Woods at the Scout Island Nature Centre this Saturday, Oct. 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the nature centre.
The Young Naturalists’ Club welcomes children ages five to 14 accompanied by an adult, says program co-ordinator Jenny Noble. You don’t have to be a member, but if you join YNC you get B.C.’s only home grown nature magazine for children NatureWILD and meet other nature-loving families.
