The Miocene Volunteer Fire Department will be holding their annual Santa Run on Sunday, Dec. 24.
Santa makes a special appearance every year to visit all the children in the area on the night before Christmas.
It’s a holiday tradition for the jolly fellow, who joins the fire department to make the annual rounds.
The run starts at 4 p.m. on the Spokin Lake Road at the second cattle guard, where the pavement ends. Santa will continue on his way including the Desautel, Pardise, Sheffler and Lumreek side roads.
Santa will make an appearance at the Miocene Community Hall around 5:30 p.m. and then will tour Allpress, Doyle, Branch and Rose Drive.
Santa is a busy fellow on Christmas Eve, and after Miocene is off to every community around the world, so if his route doesn’t include your house, he hopes that you’ll be able to meet at the Community Hall.
