Williams Lake Toy Run organizers (front) Dave and Judy Hansen lead a group of riders for a poker run, show and shine and tour from the Comer Station Pub Saturday.

In its second year, the toy run collects toys and canned goods for the local Salvation Army, Child Development Centre, 150 Mile House and Wildwood fire departments and the RCMP’s victim services.

Saturday the group of around 40 riders took part in a poker run, travelling to Big Lake, 150 Mile House and McLeese Lake.

“It’s just to get together with these guys, have some fun and do some good for the community,” Dave said.

“We’re going to try to do this every year.”
