The Barkerville Heritage Trust is hosting a reception and open house celebrating 150 years of Barkerville and The Cariboo Gold Rush (1862-2012) on Friday, Jan. 13 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Shiraoi House at 690 Gray Ave. in Quesnel. There will be a presentation by Judy Campbell, CEO.
