Williams Lake’s Craft Beer Festival is nearly upon us, with the annual event set to bring back all the things patrons have come to love.

This year’s event is on Saturday, Feb. 24 and goes from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Thompson Rivers University.

With 18 craft breweries, cideries and distilleries signed on and more expected still to confirm, the event will once again offer a broad range of tastings for attendees.

Along with great food, a silent auction and free rides home inside the city, the festival should be another great event aimed at raising funds to support the Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre.

Each year the festival raises $20,000-30,000 towards supporting the organization and has raised over $100,000 through the years.

Shane Nicoll, who is helping to organize this year’s event, said there will be a couple of breweries they haven’t seen before, which is always exciting.

Tickets for the event are available online via Eventbrite.ca and are $100 per person.
