John Sonntag (left), Jim Wotzke, Bill Hyde, Ralph Kohnke, Gerry Dodge, Gerry Leclerc, Wally Oakes, Doug Hinsche, retired trainmen from the P.G.E. and B.C. Rail got together recently at the Museum of the Cariboo Chilcotin to view the model of the train and railway yard that is featured on the lower floor.
Museum volunteer Ken Schwartz, one of the creators of the model, gave a short talk and a demonstration of the train. During the lunch that followed there was much discussion about the ‘good old days’ on the railway.
