The family of Alvin Bruce Arrowsmith celebrated his 70th birthday, even if he is no longer around to join them.

Family members, including his three daughters and his widow, all drank Pepsi, his favourite beverage, and ate pizza in the setting sun in the park in honour of the man.

A bench in the small park near the top of Carson Drive at Ninth Avenue has been installed in his memory, and the family brought some chairs, a table and balloons, making it a fun fall gathering.
