Poor air quality outside keeps pool busy inside

Poor air quality in the region has more and more residents seeking an oasis indoors at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex.

Both of the pools as well as the fitness centre upstairs have been busy this week while Environment Canada warns those with respiratory difficulties and even the general public to abstain from physical exertion as the air quaity remains poor heading into the weekend.

Eariler this week, Nancy Thomson checked out the pool at the complex with her grandchildren and commented on how lovely the newly updated pool is.

“It’s really a wonderful facility,” said Thomson.
