Tineka Lowry, 9, a Grade 4 student at Cataline elementary school, lets lakecity nature and history interpreter Mary Forbe’s pet rat Petunia rest on her head for a bit during Cataline’s Streets of Learning open house last Wednesday evening. Petunia was originally a gift to Mary from the Cataline Grade 1/2 class. Mary is also sending Petunia’s story for consideration as a feature on the Pet Heros television show.
