Naturalist Mary Forbes brought her pet rat along for the Walk for Harmony on Tuesday, which proved to be a big hit with students participating in the walk. The Grade 5 students are from Chilcotin Road elementary and participated in the Walk for Harmony and activities at the Gibraltar Room with students from their twin Sxoxomic school at Alkali Lake. The students participate in exchange visits such as skating and sledding parties and writing letters to one another, said student Joey Wasstrom.
