Operation Red Nose is gearing up for a second weekend offering safe rides home to people in the Williams Lake area.
Organizer Dave Dickson said last weekend they gave 48 rides, transporting 115 riders.
“We will be open again Friday and Saturday from 9 p.m to 3 a.m., the next two weekends and New Year’s Eve,” Dickson said.
”We have seven-plus teams and each and every one of them is eager and willing to pick up passengers and their vehicles to get them safely home or wherever their festive mood takes them.”
To arrange for a ride call 250-392-2222.
The campaign kicked off Friday, Nov. 30, based out of Heartland Toyota.
Rides are by donation with all proceeds going to four local groups — The Williams Lake Blue Fins Swim Club, Cariboo Chilcotin Gymnastics Association, Cariboo Chilcotin Youth Fiddlers and Camp Likely.
