Operation Red Nose wrapped up another successful year in Williams Lake, said RCMP community safety co-ordinator Dave Dickson.
On New Year's Eve, a total of 30 volunteers assisted 159 riders, providing a total of 68 rides home.
Dickson said a wrap up event will be hosted by the Williams Lake Rotary Club in the near future to formally thank the volunteers and present the proceeds of the program to the Cariboo Chilcotin Gymnastics Club, the Blue Fins, the Cariboo Chilcotin Youth Fiddlers and the Williams Lake Skate club.
"A huge thanks to our outstanding volunteers and sponsors who again made the seventh Operation Red Nose in Williams Lake a huge success," Dickson said.
