New scholarship awarded

Robin Storoschuk said it was with mixed emotions that he presented the first ever Laura Kaufman Storoschuk Memorial scholarship.

Robin Storoschuk said it was with mixed emotions that he presented the first ever Laura Kaufman Storoschuk Memorial scholarship at the 2016 Grad ceremonies in Williams Lake Saturday.

He said the two recipients chosen to receive the new memorial scholarship had to possess school leadership, spirit and strong academics. It was awarded to Chloe Storoschuk (left) and Jasmine Tio during a standing ovation.
