The much-anticipated grand opening of Women’s Contact Society’s new Kidcare Daycare facility on Western Avenue is this Friday, July 29.
The opening ceremonies take place from 1 to 4 p.m. with the ribbon cutting taking place at 2 p.m.
The community is invited to come and celebrate the facility, dedicated to providing innovative and flexible child care options to local families.
Women’s Contact Society executive director Irene Willsie says the new facility has created 105 new daycare spaces and will be open from 5 a.m. to midnight to accommodate families.
“I can’t help but smile when I see the new building,” Willsie said.
“It’s all come together in such a beautiful way. It has imaginative things like reading lofts, play corners and a climbing wall and we’re extremely proud of it.”
