The Grade 7 leadership group at Nesika Elementary School rallied all grades in bringing in more than 1,000 cans of food for the Salvation Army’s Christmas food drive. And as a little cheer for the occasion they made some of the tins into an Oscar the Grouch mascot from Sesame Street characters.
