Plans for National Aboriginal Day, taking place Saturday, June 21, are underway.

There will be a parade beginning at 10 a.m. at the Elks Hall ending up in Boitanio Park.

"We're getting organized right now," said Marg Casey of the Northern Shuswap Tribal Council. "People are signing up to host booths."

There will be celebrations continuing in the park until 2:30 p.m.
