Grade 1 students at Nesika elementary, Arianna Smith, 6, (left) and Kyestin Haller-Johnson, 6, picked their pumpkin Tuesday to take home to carve into a jack-o-lantern that they will bring back to school on Friday, today, for a Halloween pumpkin carving contest. Dozens of pumpkins were laid out on the school field for the students to choose from.
