A Mobility Adventure Day will be held Monday, Aug. 22 at the stage in Boitanio Park from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for people with mobility difficulties.
There will be games playable with walkers, wheelchairs, canes plus entertainment and various activities.
The activities will include mini spa treatments, reiki, massage, reflexology, nail trimming and painting, yoga and stretching.
Lunch will be for sale or people can bring their own lunches.
It is a day set aside to show respect and honour people who don’t get around as quickly and easily as others.
Volunteers are also welcome.
