A crowd of about 150 people participated in a candlelight vigil held at Esk’et, Alkali Lake on Murdered and Missing Women Day Thursday, Oct. 4. Here Debbie Robbins leads the honour song for the missing women. Tributes were made to Rose Marie Roper who was murdered in 1967 in or near Williams Lake and Jackie Bob who went missing in about 2004 while out west harvesting mushrooms.
