Lake City Secondary School marketing students have raised $1,206 so far with a hot chocolate fundraiser earmarked for Chiwid Transition House in Williams Lake.

“We have been selling them at school, at the Medieval Market, and through different schools in the district,” said class member Brittany Zimmer.

“We have also had orders from the Friendship Society and a donation from the Williams Lake and District Credit Union.”

Student Logan Lewis designed a logo for the project, with tall trees and a falcon, and the words “falcon fusion.”

The hot chocolate will be for sale up until Jan. 13.
