From photography to garden projects, turkeys, pigs, eggs, rabbits, sheep, and cows, there are lots of interesting exhibits to see wandering around the 58th annual Williams Lake and District 4-H Show and Sale taking place at the Williams Lake Stockyards this week.

While wandering around the pens the public can watch as members wash and groom their animals for judging, and perhaps choose an animal to bid on come sale day on Monday.

The show and sale began Thursday with the horse show events, small animal weigh-in and judging in the foods, small engines, gardening, poultry and rabbit classes.

Events continued Friday, Aug. 12 with the sheep classes of judging, dog show, plus oral and written judging in the various entry categories, and the heifer show.

Beef judging takes place Saturday, Aug. 13 followed by the judging of the swine classes on Sunday, Aug. 14.

Monday, Aug. 15  is the big day the 4-H members have been working toward all year, the sale of their projects. The sale begins with the parade of champions at 5:30 p.m. followed by the opening ceremonies and sale starting at 6:30 p.m.
