Williams Lake potter Lesley Lloyd is the featured artist at the Quesnel Art Gallery this month with her show Out of the Cave: Art.
The pieces in her show were inspired by her travels and the opportunity to view ancient art found in European caves. She uses ceramics to show how human beings historically used art as a means of expression.
Lloyd invites people to visit with her at the opening of the show tonight, Friday, Oct. 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. The show runs Oct. 10 to 31 at the Quesnel Art Gallery at 500 North Star Road in Quesnel.
