I love you Mom! We are going to the Lion’s Club pancake breakfast on Sunday.
Looking for something to do this Mother’s Day? How about a pancake breakfast?
Starting at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 12, in the Save-On parking lot, the Williams Lake Lions will be working hard serving a delicious breakfast where moms eat for free.
Pancakes, eggs and sausages will be flying off the grill in this annual event which is held in conjunction with a Mother’s Day Market. At the market, local vendors with be selling everything such as crafts, plants, jewelry and other interesting items.
“Your mom is a special person and we encourage you to bring your mother out for a free hot breakfast, while others will pay a nominal amount,” said Wilf Goerwell, president of the Williams Lake Lions Club.
The Williams Lake Lions are an active non-profit service club that provide donations to many groups in our community from seniors to youth sports, education, the arts, health assistance and Christmas hampers for needy families.
