By all accounts, this year’s annual Likely May Day Parade had something for all to enjoy.

Kids and adults mustered up their most creative costumes for the event Saturday where, as one spectator noted, “It’s so great you get to see it not once, but twice.”

The parade meanders slowly down the main stretch in Likely past the general store and hotel, before looping around and coming back for a double take.

Following, kids took part in a number of races on the grass across from the Likely Hotel, where ribbons were awarded.

Prizes were also given out in a number of categories for the parade, including child historical, comedy, bicycle, most unique/effort and sport, and adult historical/classic, comedy, commercial, must unique/effort and sport.
