The Williams Lake Library is hosting a special presentation, Horses of the Chilcotin with David Williams on Wednesday, May 15.

The Williams Lake Library is hosting a special presentation, Horses of the Chilcotin with David Williams on Wednesday, May 15.

Williams will show slides and talk about the wild horses of the Chilcotin during the presentation.

He will talk about his research into the origins and conservation values of the Brittany Triangle horses and the role they play in the ecosystem.

Williams has been studying the horses for 12 years and is making the case for their protection as an iconic heritage species of great importance to the Tsilhqot’in people.
