The Lake City Secondary drama department is selling off its old costumes just in time for Halloween.
The sale will take place on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Williams Lake campus.
This grand costume sell off includes dresses, suits, masks, fantasy costumes and more, says teacher Gaye Burton-Coe.
Diamond Dinner
The Diamond Dinner for the Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre and Women’s Contact Society is coming up on Oct. 22 at The Point banquet room.
In addition to the dinner there will be auctions, raffles, door prizes and the annual diamond raffle draw valued at $3,200.
Tickets are $75 and available at the Women’s Contact Society and Cariboo Chilcotin Child Development Centre.
Seniors Centre barbecue social
The Seniors Activity Centre is hosting an autumn barbecue and social on Sunday, Oct. 16. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the dinner with steak or chicken, baked beans, potatoes, salad, veggies and dessert and a beverage begins at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $18 and available at the centre’s office.
