Participants in the Horsin’ Around program, put on by the Child Development Centre, line up with the horses that were provided by private owners at the Williams Lake Trail Riders Arena on Tuesday. The program allowed children to have the opportunity to participate in the everyday care and grooming of the horses, learn the principles of safe horse handling, and develop basic horsemanship skills.
