Horsefly square dancing Saturday

This Saturday afternoon, Sept. 3 there will be a free flat-footing dance workshop in the Horsefly Community Hall with renowned dance teacher Charmaine Slaven from Seattle. To register for the workshop contact Pharis Romero for information and to register for the workshop 250-620-0592.

People will also be able to try out their new skills at the square dance taking place Saturday evening in the hall starting at 7:30 p.m. with music provided by Jason and Pharis Romero’s Old Time Band and Charmaine Slaven as the caller.

Tickets for this event are $5 or $15 for a family at the door.

The dancing takes place in conjunction with the Horsefly River Salmon Festival happening on the banks of the Horsefly River just across the bridge in Horsefly this Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
