The colourful salmon-shaped lantern made at last year’s Horsefly River Salmon Festival hung majestically at the festival last weekend near the craft table where Japanese Gyotaku fish prints were being made. Here Brandi Ranger, who demonstrated the print making technique with Bruce MacLeod, holds up one of the sockeye salmon prints she made. The public was invited to make prints to take home.
