Horsefly has a unique hook for encouraging people to recycle. Can-Man, being used here by Lynn Lipp, was built by John Wright of Cariboo Pickers. Can-Man crushes cans, talks to you, runs on wheels and has an interesting hair cut. He was auctioned by the community in November 2011 with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to the Horsefly Volunteer Fire Department. The Can-Man is now on display at the front entry of Horsefly Service, his proud new owner.
