The Horsefly 4-H club had their first meeting of the year on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2017.

The club members voted for the new executive: Anna Best, president; Sari Aigner, vice-president; Joey Augustine, treasurer; Caitlin Khong, secretary; Johna Aigner, club reporter; Michaela Wilson, safety officer.

Leaders are Mike Aigner, Swine; Irene Aigner, poultry; Bobbi-Jo Best, beef; Ricky Seelhof, assistant beef leader; Sara Augustine, Rabbit; Linda Bartsch, small engine leader; Victor Khong, photography; Ricky Seelhof, Clover Bud; Linda Bartsch, A Leader

In the Horsefly 4-H Club there are six seniors, 11 juniors and two Clover Buds.

The projects are: six steers; six heifers; two cow calf; four swine; three turkeys; one laying hen; three photo; two Clover Bud; two small engine; one doe and litter; one fancy breed rabbit.

Upcoming events are a sledding party at the gravel pit beside the dump on Feb. 5 and the first beef weigh in on Feb. 26.
