Harvest Fair high point winners

There were many wonderful entries in the Williams Lake Harvest Fair held in the Stampede Grounds last weekend.

There were many wonderful entries in the Williams Lake Harvest Fair held in the Stampede Grounds last weekend.

Ribbons were presented and prize money was awarded to first, second and third place winners.

Ribbons were also awarded for best of show entries in the various categories and those who had many entries were in contention for high point ribbons.

Cheryl Procter was returned as the grand aggregate winner with entries in cut flowers, floral art, baking, and crochet categories.

High point winners are as follows.

Cut Flowers: Cheryl Procter.

Floral Art: Cheryl Procter.

Potted Plants: Cecilia Gray.

Vegetables: Gwen Phillips.

Fruit: Gwen Phillips.

Canning: Cecilia Gray.

Baking: Cheryl Procter.

Needlework: Shirley Pascas.

Quilting: Shirley Pascas.

Knitting: Arlette Vanstone.

Crochet: Cheryl Procter.

Seniors: Bill Telford.

Arts and Crafts: Bill Telford.

Pre-Junior Children: Madigan Riplinger.

Junior Children: Madigan Riplinger.

Intermediate Children: Danielle Schultz.

Senior Children: Christina Kelly.

Wine: Noel Vanstone.

Photography Adult: Krista Clarke.

Photography Youth: Amelia Burrill.

The door prize winners were Vic Finnbogason for the Canadian Tire patio set; Norm Symynuk for the Blackstock Distributors gift basket; and Yvonne Pommier for the Blackstock Distributors gift basket.
