Be amazed. There is all sorts of Halloween fun happening in the city today and an amazing array of costumes and painted faces coming out of the woodwork.

Behind these cartoon avenging comic book and movie heroes is a heck of a lot to talent.

Bronson Ramos (left), as Gypsy Danger from Pacific Rim made his costume and that of his friend Dexter Giesbrecht (right) as Death Stroke.

Sierra Williams (centre), as Hawks from the Justice League, also made her costume.

The trio is out and about in the city this afternoon amazing onlookers.

Bronson took a month and a half to make his costume and about two weeks to make Dexter's costume. Sierra also spent several weeks making her costume including special ordering feathers to glue onto her wings.

Ramos said the parts of the costume are made from simple jigsaw foam mats, and held together with elastic banding. The painting is truly impressive.

Sierra is an x-ray technician at the hospital. Dexter works at the Cariboo Fire Centre. Bronson works at Save-On-Foods and is also in training as a tattoo artist.
