Members of the Third Williams Lake Guides took a trip to the Williams Lake River Valley on May 17 to learn more about invasive plants. They learned how harmful Burdock is to animals and other plant species. While the girls were stripping the prickly burs off the branches and digging up new Burdock plants they found a dead warbler that had been caught in the burs. The weed pull was sponsored by the Cariboo Regional District and involved 13 guides and six adult volunteers.
