The activity room in the Central Cariboo Arts Centre will soon have a new official name.
Formerly called the Great Room, the open activity space in the centre will be re-named the Graham Kelsey Room, says arts centre administrator Brandon Hoffman.
Kelsey is being recognized for the essential part he played in the creation of the Central Cariboo Arts and Culture Society and creation of the Central Cariboo Arts Centre.
Hoffman says Kelsey continues to be an asset to the entire Cariboo arts community and will be honoured during a wine-and-cheese celebration at the centre on Tuesday, Oct. 11 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Harpest Jean Wellburn will be performing.
