Educational opportunities are definitely changing with the computer age. More and more students are choosing alternate ways to complete their high school graduation years.

Case in point is this year’s huge crop of 62 graduates from the School District 27 GROW/Skyline programs which allow students to pace their learning to their own life situations, often combining work with schooling.

Pictured here walking from the GROW centre to their graduation ceremonies held in the Marie Sharpe elementary school gymnasium June 1 are Maverick West (left), Cory Vawter, Charissa Sulin, Chiara-Marie Stoneman, and Brian Stirling.
