It poured, drizzled and finally the rain stopped in time for more than 150 ticket holders to enjoy the eight properties on the recent Garden and Arts Tour.
Visitors were treated to beautiful art by local painters, spinners, weavers and quilters.
In addition, talented musicians serenaded ticket holders.
Each garden was unique with gracious hosts and brilliant volunteers who answered queries and pointed out garden features.
Event organizers said it was a superb day and added the Garden Club looks forward to the 2018 tour.
