The public is invited to the Station House Gallery Thursday evening Nov. 24 at 5 p.m. for the final unveiling of the Joy Project with Cat Fink.

All through November Fink has been working on art work projects around the theme of what gives her joy and invited the public to come down to the gallery and work on projects of their own to fill the gallery.

A long table filled with art supplies was provided for the public to join her in the creative process.

“It will make you smile,” says gallery manager Diane Toop of the completed show.

Starting Thursday, Dec. 1 the gallery turns into a Christmas Market featuring all sorts of local arts and crafts.

Toop says the gallery will continue to accept artisan work throughout December and is always looking for the “new and wonderful.”

From Dec. 1 through Dec. 31 the gallery will be open seven days a week: Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Those interested in participating in the market can contact Toop at manager@stationhousegallery.com or 250-392-6113.
