Free Clark’s Nutcracker presentation Wednesday at Scout Island

Lakecity birdwatchers and lovers of nature won’t want to miss this latest free presentation: Whitebark Pine and Clark’s Nutcrackers: An endangered relationship, hosted by the Scout Island Nature Centre.

Held at the Scout Island Nature House this Wednesday, April 24 Scout Island invites the whole community out to learn more about the endangered Whitebark Pine species.

Speakers for the event are Randy Moody, a Whitebark Pine recovery specialist and Ken Wright, a Clark’s Nutcracker expert. Doors open at 7 p.m.
